Something that stood out about this song was the beatswitch midway through that changed the slower tempo to a faster and more energetic pace while still keeping the same melodic vocals making this song great for any type of day. “This song is very relaxing and melodic which for me is perfect for a nice spring day,” freshman Ganbold Imm said.

Risk It All by Bruno Mars was released in early March of 2026 as part of his latest rollout “The Romantic”. The song creates a smooth and calming vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxing spring day. It features soft instrumentals paired with Mars’s signature soulful vocals, creating a laid-back yet amazing listening experience. What stands out most is how effortlessly the melody flows, giving the track a peaceful and reflective tone. This is why I rate this song a 9.2/10.

Vanika Jivan – Don’t Be Dumb/Trip Baby

“I really like the R&B part of this song and how dreamy it sounds, I also really like the beatswitch,” sophomore Vanika Jivan said.

Don’t Be Dumb/Trip Baby was released in January of 2026 and quickly stood out on ASAP Rocky’s new album “Don’t Be Dumb” because of its psychedelic and melodic sound. The song blends atmospheric production with soft vocals, creating a floating and almost hypnotic feel. One of the most interesting parts is the beat switch, which shifts the energy and completely changes the vibe of the song. This combination of chill and dynamic elements makes the song especially memorable. This is why I rate this song a 9.4/10.

Morgan Preddy – Bunce Road Blues

“I really like the production on this song,” junior Morgan Preddy said. “The Tems feature is really soothing and fits very well with J Cole’s rapping.”
