As the year comes to a close, seniors had their Convocation ceremony, assembling in the lower gym for one of their last ceremonies before they graduate.
“I feel very sentimental after hearing the speeches from the principal and [other teachers],” senior Jane Hirschberg said. “Walking into school today in my cap and gown made me sad that I’m leaving high school.”
The ceremony featured speeches from students and staff, reflecting on the class’s shared experiences and accomplishments. Awards were also presented so they could be worn for graduation.
“It was a great way to join together and celebrate the end of an amazing four years,” senior Katelyn Gray said. “It made me realize how far we’ve come, and helped me get more excited for graduation.”
