As the final event of spirit week, Highlanders gathered in the football stadium for the homecoming pep rally hosted by McLeadership.
“The purpose of the pep rally was to get the spirit for the football game tonight and also Homecoming tomorrow,” said sophomore Anna Heren, a member of McLeadership.
The pep rally featured competitive games, the fall sports captains parade and performances by the marching band, dance team and cheer team.
“It went really well,” Heren said. “We practiced a lot [beforehand], and the crowd was always hype.”
