Recently, the staff of the Highlander decided to ask teachers about any dating advice that they may have for the students at McLean High School. Here are a few of the responses that we got:

-English teacher Heather Stiegler
“I would probably say my advice would be only date someone you’re friends with first.”
-English teacher Emily Love
“[My advice would be] Not to take the relationships too seriously in high school because you never know what’s going to happen.”
-Math teacher Nicole Dulmes
“Make sure you use proper grammar, ‘cause it it’ll impress your date.”
-English teacher Christy Toledano
“Guys should always show up slightly late so girls have time to get everything ready, like their makeup”
– Social Studies teacher Rob Plunkett
