As the year begins, people of McLean reflect upon all of the good and bad things that happened the previous year. With these reflections come regret and future goals for the next year. Here is a list of things that students wish to improve on in 2013:
10. Sleep More
Students dont get enough sleep and hope to get homework done quicker in order to get the recomended 7 hours.
9. Get a Job
Students want a job to earn their own money and gain responsibility
8. Learn a new talent
Learning new things such as an instrument, gets teens to be productive in their free time
7. Be Selfless
helping the less fourtunate makes you feel nice with the added benefit of looking good on college applications
6. Work out more
Working out not only makes you look better, it makes you feel better and helps take the edge off of stress from school.
5. Focus on schoolwork
It’s simple: Focusing on schoolwork leads to better grades
4. Don’t Procrastinate
Whether its studying for a test or cleaning your room, procrastination leads to things piling on top of itself and stresses you out
3. Be more organized
Being organized helps people keep track of what needs to be done and makes it easier to complete work
2. Be nicer
Being a nicer person genuinely make others fel good about themselves so that they would want to return the favor
1. Eat healthier
Eating healthier food can lead to concentrating better in classes and keeping your energy up!
