Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues definitely exceeded expectations. The directors managed to make it even more ridiculous than Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy.
It is 1979, and Veronica Corningstone and Ron Burgundy are famous anchors in New York City with 6 year old son, Walter Burgundy. Veronica gets promoted to lead anchor, and Ron is fired for being an awful news anchor. The family falls apart. Ron leaves, and gets an offer from a radical news network, whose gimmick is 24 hour news.
Ron goes back to San Diego to round up his old news team, and hilarity ensues. A lot of plot twists occur, with the raising of a shark named Doby, several car chases, and a fight with the Ghost of Stonewall Jackson. The film also had a lot of cameos from celebrities like Drake, Kristin Wiig, Tina Fey, and Kanye West. Overall, the movie was hilariously funny and the entire theater was roaring with laughter throughout the entire movie.
