Design: The Playstation has a slick and matte black finish to it. The design has edges to its side that enables it to stand flat on its back or even on its side without any damage to the disk. Sony, as always, puts in the Disc slide and not a disk tray, which its beneficial to the safety of the disc so that it doesn’t move within the console. The Xbox One however, is a huge block. The Xbox One is bigger than any Xbox 360 design, so people might think that the design would be smaller due to the Xbox 360’s getting smaller over time. But instead, Microsoft took a big step back and made it a massive black brick.
Graphics: Everyone says that the graphics are the same on each of the consoles but the most popular game on both consoles, Call of Duty: Ghosts, actually has different default settings on graphics. The Xbox One displays 720P, which is the bare minimum for an HD output, while the PS4 displays 1080P, which is the gold prize when it comes to HD output. If you are a graphics guy and like crystal clear viewing while playing Call of Duty (which everyone seems to be playing), then get the PS4.
Value: No matter what the differences between the consoles are, there is no point of viewing this article or even reading about the Xbox One or Playstation 4 unless you can afford it. The Playstation 4 comes at a price of $ 400 while the Xbox One comes at a price of $500. Both Consoles come with a HDMI Cable which allows the player to play on an HD setting. However, the Xbox One has a Kinect Camera to it which is just a big and bulky and the console itself. The Playstation 4 is just a gaming system at its core and doesn’t have any add-ons to it that makes it complicated. The Playstation 4 has a faster processor than the Xbox One so if you aren’t fond of processors, the PS4 runs faster than the Xbox One. I mean with a faster processor, better graphics, slicker design, and a cheaper price, why wouldn’t someone get the Playstation 4!
