McLean’s Art 1 students created unique portrayals of types of dogs, which are currently on display in the front office. The students used inspiration from movies, books, places, and more to create their pieces. Their work earned awards such as best hairdo, cutest dog, and more.

“The purpose of the art pieces is to be a lighthearted and creative assignment,” Art teacher Christina Carroll said. “We lend the dogs students make to teachers around the school to keep in classrooms, we try and create a community in the school.”
