Fourteen-year-old Ryan Morales was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis at the age of 10 months, and has since been a patient at Children’s National Hospital. He was “the guest of honor” at McDance-A-Thon, and shared his story with the students at the dance. With daily treatments from the hospital he is able to attend Northwest High School in Maryland, and also joined the football team this year. Despite his illness he is still full of energy and laughter. Throughout the dance Ryan spun the turntables, danced on and off stage, and played some basketball with students.
