Fortnite players witnessed the most updates and changes this past season in season 3 with the additions of Supply llamas, vending machines, new skins and new weapons. With season 3 of Fortnite to end within a week here is a look back at some of the new updates and new weapons that has enhanced gameplay for players.

The first update of season 3 came with the addition of supply llamas to gameplay. Supply llamas are a nice touch to the gameplay, as it can become grueling while running around for a while during a game, but coming across a llama is well worth it for the reward.  There are three supply llamas each game randomly spread across the map and contains 500 of each material, ammo and healables.

Another major update that hit during season 3 was the addition of vending machines. Vending machines offer a nice new strategy to Fortnite, as players can stack up on materials to purchase for weapons, healables or items. Vending machines are randomly spread out all across the map and the quality of them varies from common all the way up to legendary.

Season 3 also saw the most new weapons added for any season in Fortnite with the arrival of the guided missile, heavy shotgun, hunting rifle, and hand cannon. All of these unique guns added a new dimension to Fortnite that made gameplay even more fun. The heavy shotgun gives players the ability to use a shotgun, but still use it for range. The hand cannon offers a powerful close range gun, but with a slow recoil time can be a risk at times. The hunting rifle gives players an alternative to the sniper as, snipers can be inconsistent at times. One controversial weapon to the game has been the guided missile. Players feel the guided missile is too strong and can be too powerful late in games as it allows players to shoot and control a missile.

With every new season comes new skins and season 3 saw its fair share of skins added to the game. Season 3 offers skins associated with events that happened throughout the game such as, Valentines, Chinese New Years and characters from movies such as Guardians of the Galaxy. With all of season 3 updates and additions it is clear season 3 has been the best season yet and players should be excited for season 4.
