Best buddies perform beloved Christmas classic
On December 13-14, McLean’s best buddies program performed a theatrical adaption of Dr. Seuss’s classic book How the Grinch Stole Christmas in the black box theater.
The play was jam packed with laughter, eccentric costumes, and songs such as “Jingle bell rock” and “you’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch”.
Junior Trevor Sheehan played the titular role of the Grinch, delivering a performance that gave Jim Carrey a run for his money. Sheehan’s comedic abilities were at full force on stage, causing the audience to erupt in wild laughter countless times throughout the production.
“The play went amazing, we did a lot of singing and expressions to look like the characters from the Grinch,” said junior Ben Shue, who played the role of the Grinch’s dog, Max. “My favorite part was dancing.”
