Homecoming spirit week themes announced
Highlanders prepare to show their school spirit by dressing up
October 17, 2017
Next week is homecoming spirit week, the week that Highlanders can expect to see their peers roaming the hallways wearing creative outfits to show their Highlander pride. The themes are the following, so assemble your outfits!
Monday is salad dressing day. Freshmen are the salad and should wear green, sophomores are thousand island dressing and should wear tropical outfits, and juniors are ranch dressing and should wear Western attire. Seniors are Caesar dressing and should wear togas.
“The salad dressing is a new idea, where each class can show their own spirit and we can incorporate a lot of ideas into one day, so we thought we’d give it a shot,” said leadership class member and senior Anna Sargent.
Tuesday is tie-dye day for all students.
Wednesday is Jersey day, so sport a Highlander jersey or a jersey for your (other) favorite team.
Thursday is tacky tourist day, so bring your cameras. This day is going to be picture perfect!
Friday is the classic class colors day. As a reminder, freshmen should wear gray, sophomores should wear white, juniors should wear black and seniors should wear red.
