Ah Valentine’s Day, one of the biggest commercial holidays we celebrate and cherish and spend a lot of money on. However, the process of buying the right gift can be complicated and tiring process. Luckily for you, I’m here to show you how to find the perfect gift for your special someone.

First, be sure to really know who you’re buying for. Know their likes, know their dislikes, know their habits, basically know as much as you can, which you probably already do if you’re buying a Valentine’s Day gift for them. This is crucial in not buying a gift your special friend despises and instead buying something they will love..

Second, be sure to pay attention to any hints your special someone is giving in regards to what they might want. Take note if they keep mentioning a particular product or advertisement or if they constantly have eyes locked to something on sale. Also be sure to ask some close friends of the person you’re buying for if they’ve mentioned something in particular they would like.

Finally, be sure to stay within your budget. Don’t go out and buy a $1000 diamond necklace on your minimum wage salary, be reasonable, sometimes the best gifts are the smaller and cheaper ones. However, don’t buy something meaningless either, i.e don’t buy your special someone a pack of chewing gum. Try to find a middle ground between cheap and expensive.

However, remember that in the end a good gift comes from the heart and should reflect your true feelings for the person you’re buying for.
