Thanksgiving crafts entertain seniors

On Monday, Nov. 20, the McLean High School administration held a senior exclusive Thanksgiving crafting in the sance room. The room was lined up with tables with papers and tools to craft with, along with tables for students to work on.

“I think it’s great that we are able to do some crafting, even if it’s a little childish… it really lets us take a breather from all the school work and college apps,” senior Calvin Zug said.

All the students there had bright smiles on their face while crafting with there friends. Many of the students were coloring turkeys, and some students were coloring the turkey with silly colors like purple.

“It was surprisingly fun. This is a really fun way to prep for the Thanksgiving break,” senior Cayla Davis said.

Though the dance room was not packed, there were a fair amount of students there, roughly 30 to 40. Hopefully the administration would make this fun event into a tradition where seniors can take a breather before the regular deadlines of college applications.
