Numerous people procrastinate when it comes to homework. But what they don’t understand is that it can ruin them when they go to college.

“This year I don’t start my homework until the morning that it’s due,” sophomore Zoe Le Menestrel said.

The usual reason for this is that when students come home form school, they are too tired and lazy to do any work. Instead, they browse on social network sites.

“If I did not have a Facebook, I would probably focus more on school,” sophomore Helena Doms said. “Unfortunately Facebook is the first thing I go on when I get home.”

Besides going on social network sites, many people just sit with their homework on their laps and do absolutely nothing. They just stare into space and daydream.

“When I open my textbook the first thing I do is just stare at the words without processing anything,” sophomore Alisha Smith said.

Procrastination will bite someone in the butt at one point of high school, and will hurt their grades. People should keep this in mind when they are feeling lazy.
